    This is what I do for myself, not necessarily for clients I train.

    Protein/fat meals
    PeriWO carbs
    IntraWO heavy

    Favorite offseason meals...
    Ground Beef 95% lean + avocado
    93% ground turkey + avocado
    Whole eggs + whites
    Whites + oats
    Whites + Ezekiel bread
    Whey + almond milk + nut butter
    95% ground beef + jasmine rice
    Cinnamon Chex + whites or whey
    Brown rice pasta + low fat sauce + 95% ground beef
    Coffee blended with extra virgin coconut oil + unsalted kerigold butter


    Each meal has specific times. Those are just random meals I enjoy based on my eating principles. I'll splurge twice a week on some junk if I feel like I can afford to.

    I start with a set number of pro/fat grams per meal, along with setting my pro/carb meals up surrounding the training sessions. From there, I just add or subtract by 5-10 grams of whatever macro I need and monitor the progression.

    Dave, your so fucking big now bro. Are you just going through a form of body dismorphia and seeing a smaller guy instead of seeing a prepped one? Do you have Dante or anyone else to look at you and tell you what they see? Are you at ground zero yet? Don't forget your always flat on the way down. The refill last couple days is when things start to pop.
    Keep your head, if this was easy everyone would do it.

    You're saying because I'm big, but I want to put additional size on, I now have body dysmorphia? You don't know what my offseason was like, injuries I've dealt with, etc. I know what I'm capable of, which is why I said what I said that I can put the size on. My upper body is not pro level yet. Don't assume.

    I have Dante, Matt Porter, and many others in my corner.

    I'm aware that being flat doesn't make you look great. You don't know what's going on in my prep, so you also can't assume what's going on when all I said was "my body isn't responding like I expected". I need to get leaner. I'm not worried about the size this year.

    I understand it's hard. I've been in the game a long time.

    Dave, you took the tone of my entire post wrong. When you say your unhappy with your prep and the next time you compete you want to be MUCH bigger, what do you think this suggests? lol If I were assuming anything I wouldn't be asking questions. Hope it all goes well! I'll be pulling for you.

    My apologies, I just went off what you said.

    I want to be leaner than I currently am for this show.

    I'm just excited because I know how much more room for growth and improvement I have in terms of size. Eating and training for size is more fun.

    Looking great man. Its great that you keep pushing yourself - just make sure to give yourself credit! Such a TINY % of humans ever push themselves to get in top condition. The mental challenge is what draws me to BB more than anything. I love training - but there is nothing as rewarding as testing yourself 24/7 for MONTHS all for that one day on stage. For me - it makes many of the other challenges in life seem much easier.

    Dave, saw you're pics on muscular development from the north americans, you defitnitly deserve to stand on that stage, tough class. Are you going to go into a rebound diet for a while to take advantage of being so lean, or are you going straight in to your normal offseason eating...
